Las Vegas Sign
A landmark sign, the vintage Las Vegas sign has been welcoming visitors to the Strip since 1959. Reading "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas", this landmark is one of the most identifiable symbols of the city, greeting visitors as the they leave McCarren Airport.

Vegas Vic
Vegas Vic was erected in 1951 a top the Pioneer Club on what is today Fremont Street. During various periods since he was made, Vic would talk to passerbyers every 15 minutes and wave his mechanical arm at them, but both functions have since stopped working. Vegas Vic is considered by many to be a symbol of Las Vegas.
